Police seek help finding youth suspects in Bannatyne Apartments fire

WINNIPEG – Police are still trying to find the culprits in the May 10 arson that caused $2.4-million damage to an apartment building featured on a Guess Who album.

Police on patrol and area residents spotted the fire at the Bannatyne Apartments at about 11:10 a.m. The building was unoccupied and no one was injured in the blaze, police said.

The Winnipeg Police Service wants help finding three youth they suspect of setting that fire and another set in the same area at about 12:30 a.m. The three wore dark clothing and were seen in the area that day.

The other fire was set outside a building and caused minimal damage.
