Three charged after Saskatoon break and enter

SASKATOON – Three teens are facing charges after a break and enter in Saskatoon. The trio were caught following the break-in in the 200-block of Forsyth Crescent.

Police were alerted to the break and enter Monday around 3:30 a.m. A canine unit member spotted who was responding to the call spotted three people on foot acting suspiciously.

The officer took one person into custody but the other two fled on foot. They were found an hour later hiding in yards. One man was injured after being bitten by a police dog.

A 17-year-old male is facing a charge of break and enter. The other two suspects, a 15-year-old male and a female, also 15, are facing charges of break and enter and breach of an undertaking.

All three are scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday.
