TORONTO — A man has been arrested and charged after an unprovoked assault last month in Toronto.
The assault made headlines due to its unique details: a male suspect wearing a Spiderman mask on top of his head and using a skateboard as a weapon allegedly randomly attacked a teen.

Toronto man Ashton Gray, 27, has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, failure to comply with recognizance and failure to comply with probation.
Gray was arrested Monday and will appear in court July 2.
The assault happened just before midnight on Saturday, May 2, in the area of Dundas Street West and Augusta Avenue. A 16-year-old male sustained minor injuries.
Police said at the time the teen had been assaulted with a skateboard the suspect was carrying. A description of the suspect was released with an appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Toronto police thanked the public for their assistance in the matter.
