Whistler resident Michael Grefner has not been seen since January 17th, and RCMP is hoping the public can help by providing information about a woman that may have had coffee with Grefner in Pemberton on January 19th.
RCMP said they have no more information identifying this woman.
They are also asking for help in indentifying the owner or driver of a white Jeep, possibly a YJ, that was seen idling between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. on January 19th, about a block from where Grefner was living.
Police said they are not certain the Jeep is connected to Grefner, but they are hoping the driver may have seen something and can help them.

“Investigators have said that the updates and information provided by friends via the Facebook site have been very instrumental in assisting investigators with this case, certainly with respect to putting a time-line together on Michael’s activities leading up to his disappearance,” said Sgt. Shawn M. LeMay with the Whistler RCMP.
To date, Whistler RCMP said they have received about 15 Tips, all of which have been followed-up on by investigators.
Police said they have searched around Grefner’s home and along the nearby trails with an avalanche trained search (CARDA) dog, but have not been able to find any indication of where Grefner might be.
On January 25th, about 20 of Grefner’s friends and concerned citizens searched a number of sites along the train tracks in Whistler, but the search did not yield any results.
Grefner was last seen in the early morning hours of January 17th at a nightclub in Whistler. He was reported missing shortly after midnight on the 19th.
Grefner is described as Caucasian, 34 years old, 6ft 2″ tall, with a slim build. He has short curly brown hair, green eyes, an olive complexion, and is clean shaven.
If anyone has seen Michael Grefner since January 16th, or had contact with him in the days leading up to his disappearance, please call Whistler RCMP at (604) 932-3044.
