A man is in hospital with serious injuries and his brother is in police custody after a stabbing in Brampton.
Peel Region police officers went to a home (on Shady Pine Circle) Sunday morning to investigate a reported confrontation between two brothers in their 20s.

Police say one of the brothers had suffered stab wounds and was taken to a trauma unit where he was in serious but stable condition.
The other brother was arrested at the scene, but there’s been no word on possible charges — and no names have been released.
