CALGARY – If you’re thinking of signing up for a travel credit card, you may become overwhelmed with the number of options available.
Canada is saturated with more than 80 credit cards that offer travel rewards – but not all of them are created equal.
On Thursday, travel blog RewardsCanada.ca released its list of the most flexible travel rewards cards in Canada.

The website looked into the cardholder’s ability to book travel on any flight, at any time and with any airline.
“Many of the top reward programs are experiencing increased blowback from collectors frustrated by limited redemption options,” said website founder Patrick Sojka.
“Too often, the word ‘flexibility’ is loosely used to describe these programs – but the fine print tells a different story,” he added. “To avoid disappointment, consumers need to choose their travel reward cards carefully.”
