Winnipeg to host NBA exhibition game in October

WINNIPEG – Manitobans will get an up-close look at Canadian basketball superstar Andrew Wiggins this fall.

Wiggins’ Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Chicago Bulls in an exhibition game at MTS Centre Oct. 10 as part of the fourth annual NBA Canada series. The tune-up tilt is one of four being played in Canada this year.

The NBA Canada series will also celebrate basketball with interactive fan events and NBA Cares community outreach programs designed to further develop the game in Canada.

Tickets for the game go on sale June 6.
