MOOSE JAW, Sask. – A 69-year-old man is dead after the vehicle he was driving struck a light standard in Moose Jaw Sunday around 3:00 p.m.

The Moose Jaw Police Service said the driver was alone in the vehicle when he suffered a medical emergency and swerved across the southbound lanes of 9th Avenue Northwest at Stadacona Street before hitting into a pole.
The man died in hospital.
