VERNON — The suspect accused of stabbing a 32-year-old man near a Vernon elementary school has been released on bail.

Corey James Sweet, 32, was in court yesterday where he was charged with one count of aggravated assault.
“He’s been released with conditions,” says Vernon RCMP spokesperson, Gord Molendyk.
Sweet is scheduled to be back in court on June 18.
