EDMONTON – Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in Fort McMurray.
Around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of “at least one shot being heard” near an apartment building in the Clearwater Crescent area.

A man was found dead outside the entrance of the apartment complex. No one else was injured.
RCMP do not believe this was a random shooting.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
RCMP would not comment on whether or not they a suspect(s) in custody.
