WINNIPEG — Forks’ Staff are remaining tight lipped about what they call a ‘big announcement’ being released Tuesday morning.
The only hint at the market are signs that say “Delicious Things are Coming to the Forks” in front of closed curtain stalls. Longtime vendors speculate that the announcement does have something to do with the vacant restaurant spots, but that hasn’t been confirmed. Some of the shop owners told Global News that they are hoping for some changes to attract more people. Visitors to The Forks said they would like to see a new sushi spot and a Thai restaurant.
