MONTREAL — Global Montreal reporter Domenic Fazioli is facing charges of assault following an alleged domestic dispute.
None of the accusations against him have been proven in court.
Court documents say that the incident took place in mid-April, when Fazioli allegedly uttered threats against his wife.
He also faces a charge of assault with a weapon, although the nature of the alleged assault and the type of weapon have not been confirmed.
“We are unable to comment,” said Global Montreal news director and station manager, Karen Macdonald. “This matter is before the courts.”
Fazioli is expected to appear in court on May 13.
