CALGARY – RCMP say a cyclist was killed after being struck by a car on Monday.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Highway 7, about one kilometer east of Okotoks.

RCMP say the cyclist was travelling eastbound when he was struck from behind by an eastbound vehicle.
Deric Kryvenchuk, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 41-year-old unnamed woman from High River, was uninjured.
At this point RCMP haven’t laid any charges against the driver.
