PC incumbent Matt Jeneroux has lost his seat in Edmonton-South West to NDP candidate Thomas Dang. Dang was the youngest candidate in the running, at 20 years old.

Jeneroux won his seat in 2012 in the riding, which was created in the 2010 boundary redistribution.

  • Progressive Conservatives – Matt Jeneroux (incumbent)
  • Liberal – Rudy Arcilla
  • NDP – Thomas Dang
  • Alberta Party – Krishna Tailor
  • Wildrose – Cole Kander
