SASKATOON – Global Saskatoon has been recognized for digital news excellence.

The globalnews.ca/saskatoon team was presented with the Digital Media Award for overall excellence in the quality of its daily online or mobile news reporting at the RTDNA Prairie regional awards on Saturday, April 25.

Also at the awards ceremony, station manager and news director Lisa Ford was honoured with a lifetime achievement award. The award is given out to individuals who distinguish themselves through outstanding service and continued excellence in their broadcast journalism career.
