Global Lethbridge videographer Paul Kingsmith was honoured with the Sports Award at the Prairie regional RTDNA awards in Saskatoon Saturday April 25.
Kingsmith has been a member of the Global Lethbridge team for nearly ten years and was honoured with an Edward R Murrow award for his story-telling in 2014. The RTDNA Sport Award was given to him for his compelling story of local man, Danhue Lawrence who cemented his legacy on the basketball court in southern Alberta but with the glory also came twists and turns that ensured Lethbridge would be his forever home. He is proof that a leap of faith can sometimes be the thing that can change a person’s life.
RTDNA Canada Awards honour the best programs, stations and news gathering organizations in radio, television and digital. The awards were handed out in Saskatoon at the Prairie Regional Awards Banquet on Saturday.
