TORONTO – U.S. President Barack Obama’s speech Saturday at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner has gone viral thanks to some help from a well-known comedian.

Over 14 minutes into a speech posted after the event on Facebook and YouTube – that’s been watched nearly 26 million times at the time of this writing – Obama attempted to cap his address with the introduction of an ‘anger translator’ named ‘Luther’.

“Hold on to your lily-white butts,” Luther announced from over Obama’s shoulder. The pair would go on to form a pretty solid comedic partnership.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

“We count on the press to shed light on the most important issues of the day,” Obama said.

“And we can count on FOX News to terrify old white people with some nonsense,” Luther followed up. “Sharia law is coming to Cleveland — run for the damn hills!”

The sketch went on for approximately five minutes. At one point, Obama even brought up his former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who just recently hit the campaign trail in a bid to become the first female President of the United States.

“Hillary will have to raise huge sums of money too,” Obama declared.

“Oh yeah! She goin’ to get that money,” Luther responded as he paced behind Obama. “She goin’ to get all the money!”

After I heard it, I couldn't resist.

The joke about Hillary, as a member of the Game of Thrones world, has become so popular that some Internet users are even suggesting she employ her own anger translator on the campaign trail.
