Two injured in crash involving taxis in downtown Toronto

TORONTO – Two people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in downtown Toronto overnight.

The incident happened just before 3 a.m. in front of Mount Sinai Hospital.

It is believed a taxi was reversing when it struck another taxi from behind.

One driver was taken for treatment on a stretcher while the other managed to walk into an emergency room.
