RCMP looking for witnesses to help solve Sherwood Park homicide

EDMONTON —  The RCMP is looking for the public’s help with its investigation in to the death of a Sherwood Park mother of three.

Paula Stiles, 44, was found dead in her home at Foxhaven Court on the morning of Wednesday, April 15. RCMP said she was the victim of a homicide.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been passing through the Foxhaven subdivision between 11:00 p.m. on April 14, and 6:30 a.m. on April 15 to come forward.

In particular, RCMP are looking for two teenagers on skateboards who were near Foxhaven at that time.

They are also asking anyone who had any interaction with Stiles in the days leading up to her death, or anyone who may have taken personal video of public areas in or around Sherwood Park between those hours to contact them, as it may help the investigation.

On Sunday, police conducted a search of a property east of Sherwood Park, which was confirmed to belong to Stiles’ ex-husband, Ken Haeberle.

No arrests have been made, but RCMP say “the community is now, and continues to be one of the safest and secure locations in all of Alberta.”

A trust fund has been set up in Stiles’ name at all ATB Financial locations for her three daughters.
