TORONTO – The tornado watch that Environment Canada issued the Windsor region has ended.
The city was under the warning early Thursday evening as strong storms moved north from Michigan.
Several thunderstorm watches were also issued for parts of southwestern Ontario Thursday night.

Environment Canada asks that people report severe weather to storm.ontario@ec.gc.ca or tweet with the hashtag #ONStorm.
A watch is issued when conditions are favourable for severe weather. A warning is when hazardous weather is imminent or occurring.
