TORONTO – A California man is facing multiple charges for violently lashing out Saturday at a bartender after he was asked to leave for harassing patrons.
Police officers were called late Saturday night to a Holiday Inn bar in Wilsonville, Oregon after multiple 911 callers reported a disturbance.
Anaheim native Siale Saili, 27, had been allegedly bothering a group of women in a bachelorette party and lost his temper when a female bartender asked him to leave.
Surveillance video released by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office shows Saili pick up a chair and throw it in the direction of the bartender – narrowly missing her while she was on the phone with 911.
Saili continued to throw more chairs, which smashed into shelved bottles of liquor and severely damaged bar equipment, according to a release.
He reportedly fled the hotel bar after causing thousands of dollars worth of damage but was later picked up by Wilsonville officers without incident and booked into the Clackamas County Jail.
Saili now faces multiple charges that include criminal mischief, interfering with making a report, criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct and two counts of menacing.
