Suspicious death in Saskatoon now a homicide investigation

SASKATOON – Police are now investigating Saskatoon’s fourth homicide of 2015. Early Wednesday afternoon, officers were called to the 100-block of Avenue I North for a report of an injured man.

They found a 16-year-old boy outside a residence. He was declared dead at the scene.

An autopsy was performed on Thursday. The cause of death has not been released.

Police are not releasing the victim’s name at the request of his family. Postings on social media have identified him as Dannie Tsannie.
