SASKATOON – Chef Dale Mackay is venturing into the pizza business with a new restaurant called Home Slice Pizza Shoppe in Saskatoon. The restaurant will feature take out and delivery, and focuses on quality pizza with local ingredients.

“This is a collaborative between me and all the people involved with Ayden, we sat down and decided we want better pizza,” said Mackay. “We’re doing delivery style pizza, and focusing on a more American-style pizza, not the flat crust.”

Though the restaurant is sticking to the classic North American slice, options such as quinoa salad and alternative sides are available. The grand opening is Wednesday, April 1.

Home Slice Pizza Shoppe is located at 227 Pinehouse Drive in the north end of the city.
