English bulldogs of all shapes and sizes were dressed in costumes to show off their personalities at the 5th Annual Beautiful Bulldog contest in Charleston, South Carolina Saturday.
The fundraising event was hosted by the Citadel Football Association to help take care of the team’s live mascots – bulldogs – and to fund a scholarship program for The Citadel, a military college.
Thirty-seven dogs and puppies joined in on the fun, including a competitor from Ontario.
Dog owners boasted about their animal friends being the most dashing, but only one could take home the title.
According to the organization, a dog named Brutus was deemed the most beautiful.
