It’s an activity that’s usually thought of as childish, but as Global’s Ines de la Cuetara reports adult colouring books are now selling faster than cookbooks.
It’s a trend that started in France to help adults – and women especially – destress.
According to some experts, art therapy can actually be very revealing – the colours you pick and the way you draw can tell a lot about your mood.

“It doesn’t solve your problem but its certainly going to destress you and maybe be a little freer to express your problem differently,” explained Pierre Faubert, a clinical psychiatrist.
