MONTREAL — A service disruption on the Montreal metro shut down the yellow line between Longueuil and Berri-UQAM metro stations early Friday morning.
The metro line was up and running again by 7:00 a.m.

Transit authorities authorities said the disruption was caused by an overnight diesel fuel spill when crews were working on the line. Service was suspended in order to clean up the area.

To accommodate commuters, a temporary shuttle bus service was set up between Papineau and Longueuil metro stations.
