TORONTO — Taylor Kinney and David Eigenberg of Chicago Fire and Jon Seda of Chicago PD were among the celebrities who jumped into icy Lake Michigan on Sunday for the 15th annual Polar Plunge in Chicago.
An estimated 4,500 people took part in the event, which benefits Special Olympics Chicago. More than $1.1 million was raised.
Joining Kinney in the water was his fiancee, pop superstar Lady Gaga.
“It was awesome,” said Gaga after splashing around and then holding on to Kinney for warmth.

Also participating was actor Vince Vaughan, who wore a Chicago Black Hawks jersey.
