The email is dated November 20, 2014, 2 days after Winnipeg Jets owner Mark Chipman showed Mayor Bowman and Kevin Chief, NDP minister responsible for Winnipeg a promotional video for his $400 million downtown development proposal.

Option agreement for True North Sports and Entertainment for 220 Carlton:
- February 15 2015 -Development agreement and purchase price must be completed
- Property will be purchased at Fair Market Value
- Ratification of agreement requires approval of the CentreVenture Board and True North Board
- There is a $100 000 deposit from True North
- June 15, 2015 – Option expires and deal must be closed by then
