La Poutine Week kicks off in Montreal

MONTREAL — From February 1 to 7, Montrealers will have an excuse to indulge in Quebec’s favourite potato, gravy and cheese combo.

La Poutine Week is back for the third year in a row and this time, over 40 restaurants are participating in the food contest.

Lovers of the greasy, cheesy comfort food will get a chance to vote for their favourite Poutine in Montreal.

At the end of the week several poutine winners are announced, such as the Judges’ Choice, Most Popular, Healthiest and the “Imposter” (i.e. not a real poutine!).
