EDMONTON — A man who has a criminal record for sexual offences against children will be residing in the Edmonton area following his release from the Calgary Correctional Centre on Saturday.
The Edmonton Police Service wants to warn the public that Robert Edward Ventress poses a risk of significant harm to the community, particularly to children under the age of 12.
Ventress served an 18-month sentence for breaching a recognizance order. Police say he has a history of failing to obey court orders.
Ventress will be living in the Edmonton area. Police say he will be closely monitored by the EPS Behavioural Assessment Unit.
Ventress is 6’0″ tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has green eyes and black hair.
