WINNIPEG – Police arrested a second man Tuesday after a Winnipegger was beaten unconscious and left on a road, where he was later run over.
Dustin Craig McKay, 22, got in a fight with another man Friday at about 11:20 p.m. McKay was knocked unconscious and left lying in the southbound lanes of Isabel Street near Pacific Avenue.

Police patrolling in the area then witnessed McKay being run over by a vehicle headed south on Isabel. They stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, Desmond Evan Spicer.
McKay was taken to hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
Spicer was charged with driving while his ability was impaired causing death and driving with a blood alcohol level higher than .08 causing death.
The homicide unit investigated and on Tuesday at about 3 p.m. arrested the man who allegedly left McKay unconscious on the road.
Billy Joe Couture, 28, is charged with manslaughter, failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with a condition of a recognizance.
