The initiative by the International Ski Federation is in its fourth year.
It was hard for many to resist the Olympic legacy pricing. It was only $19.88 to ski Sunday for world snow day.
Canada Olympic Park drew crowds for an international, but little known event.
“Ya we didn’t know it was world snow day.. no better place to be,” Skier Jasmine Mian said.

“it’s like a different time other than summer. because it’s like the opposite and there’s fluffy stuff like snow on the ground.” Zach Adegbesen, who’s a snowboarder said.
“It doesn’t matter what day it is, you can go skiing or sledding or snowboarding or skating almost any day of the week.” Daniel Lang said.
“If you get out in the mountains, it’s good for the soul. Fresh air that’s sometimes hard to get in the winter,” skier Dallas Nault said.
