TORONTO – Was that comedian Bob Newhart officiating the U.S. college football national championship game Monday night? No, but the ref sure did look like the famous actor.

Greg Burks led the officiating crew during the Ohio State Buckeyes’ 42-20 romp over the University of Oregon.

The ref became a hot topic on Twitter during the game, not because of his officiating, but because of his uncanny resemblance to the 85-year-old actor.
