WATCH ABOVE: Police are investigating two armed robberies early Tuesday morning – both targeting Pizza Pizza restaurants in Scarborough and within a half hour of each other.
TORONTO – Two Scarborough Pizza Pizza restaurants were the targets of armed robbers overnight.

The first robbery occurred at Ellesmere and Midland just after 1:30 a.m.
A half an hour later, the thieves hit up another nearby location at Lawrence and Midland.

Police are on the hunt for two suspects believed to have held up the fast-food chains.
Authorities say one suspect was armed with a handgun and the other with a knife.
There’s no word on how much money was taken.
