YORKTON, Sask. – Mounties say alcohol was a factor in the first traffic fatality of 2015. The rollover happened around 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 1.

Police say a truck crossed the centre line on Highway 52 and entered the south ditch, causing it to roll. The 59-year-old driver was ejected.

He was taken by paramedics to Yorkton Hospital where he later died from his injuries. His name has not been released.
