One arrested, three at large after shots fired during North Central home invasion

REGINA – One man is in custody but three other people are still on the run after gunshots were fired in North Central Regina Thursday evening.

Police were called to the 1600 block of Retallack Street close to 6 p.m. where it was reported that a group of four men kicked in a door and assaulted one of the men in the house with a bladed weapon.

The two men from the home chased the intruders outside to their vehicle, where one of the four culprits shot a gun at the victims as the suspect’s vehicle drove away.

The victim of the assault was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect’s vehicle was located and 26-year-old Logan Edward-Thomas Ross arrested, but three other suspects are still on the loose – and the gun has not been found.

Ross is facing several charges including attempted murder.
