SASKATOON – Police have a man in custody who may be responsible for several armed robberies in Saskatoon. The most recent robbery happened Wednesday afternoon.

Police officials say a man entered a business in the 2200-block of 22nd Street West around 2:30 p.m. Employees said the man had a gun and demanded money before fleeing.

A canine track at the time was unsuccessful due to heavy traffic. The suspect was later located at an apartment in the 1700-block of 22nd Street West where officers seized a replica firearm.
