CALGARY – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the southeast on Saturday morning.
The man was crossing 17th Ave. SE at 33rd St. SE when he was hit.

Police told Global News he did not have the right-of-way when he stepped in front of the vehicle.
The man, in his 40s, is listed in serious, but stable condition.
The vehicle remained at the scene and police were able to speak with the driver.
No word yet on whether any charges will be laid.
