TORONTO – One person is dead and at least eight others injured following a collision between a public transit bus and a car in west-end Toronto.
Police say a Toronto Transit Commission bus and a car collided on Sunday morning sending the bus crashing into a bank (at Kipling and Brookmere).

One person in the car was killed and two others were transported to a hospital trauma unit in critical condition.
Six people on the bus were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police reconstruction units and TTC officials are on the scene, and roads in the area are expected to remain closed for several hours.
