Starbucks brings back Gingerbread Lattes to B.C. for holiday season

VANCOUVER – Starbucks Canada says they will now be providing Gingerbread Lattes to B.C. residents this holiday season.

In what could have been a marketing ploy, they had previously stated they were not going to offer the holiday drink to western provinces due to research based on regional taste preferences.

Therefore the Gingerbread Latte was only going to be offered in Ontario and the eastern provinces, and the Eggnog Latte was only going to be offered in the western provinces to Manitoba.

However, after many people voiced their displeasure on social media at the decision, using the hashtag #wewantboth, Starbucks says they have heard the complaints.

A spokesperson says they are bringing back both drinks to all markets across the country.

The Eggnog Latte will be available in all markets the week of Nov. 17 and they are hoping the Gingerbread Latte will be available as soon as possible, but they did not give a time frame.
