SASKATOON – A string of armed robberies and an attempted on Friday may be connected, according to the Saskatoon police.
At around 2:45 a.m. on Friday, officers were called to a convenience store in the 1900-block of 8th Street East.
Staff at the store reportedly saw three suspicious men walking through the parking lot. When one suddenly approached with his faced covered; however, the front door had already been locked by staff.

All three suspects then fled.
Then at around 6 a.m., police say an employee at a convenience store in the 1100-block of Central Avenue was threatened by three masked men.
The suspects reportedly had a gun, a knife and bear spray and ordered the employee to fill a blue backpack with cigarettes. The suspects then left the scene.
About 20 minutes later, officers were called to another convenience store in the 100-block of Hampton Circle.

Two employees were bear sprayed by three suspects who then stole cash and fled the business. The male suspects were reportedly carrying a blue backpack.
Police believe all the incidents on Friday are connected.
They are also believe a young man, shown in the surveillance photo above, may have information about the incidents and five other armed robberies that have occurred since Oct. 5.
