The flags, including three Canadian flags, were taken from the cenotaph and the legion.

RMCP Cpl. Evan Gordon says the crime hits home, especially in light of last week’s fatal attacks on two Canadian soldiers and the fact the flags were taken from the cenotaph and legion.

Police are looking into possible video surveillance tapes of the thefts.

They are also interviewing people who live close to where the thefts occurred.
