KELOWNA — It’s a cyclist’s worst nightmare.
A serious accident involving a cyclist has Pandosy Street near Cadder Avenue blocked to traffic.
RCMP say they are still investigating after the collision which happened Thursday morning.
Several emergency crews were seen looking underneath a large Canadian Springs commercial truck at the intersection.
The truck was partially on the sidewalk near a street pole where a bike was found.
It appears the bike hit the street pole very hard.
Police are urging to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
RCMP say a Collision Reconstructionist has been called to the scene and traffic will be delayed for a “significant amount of time” as crews investigate.
