UPDATE: Man arrested after Caswell Hill stabbing death

SASKATOON – A man is in custody as police continue to investigate Saskatoon’s sixth murder of 2014.

Officers were called to a Caswell Hill residence in the 200-block of 26th Street Wednesday evening after receiving a 9-1-1 call that a man had been stabbed.

The 32-year-old was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

His name has not been released.

Charges are pending against a 34-year-old man.

The major crime unit continues to investigate.
