Montreal International Black Film Festival

Academy Award nominated director Spike Lee was honoured with the very first Pioneer Award at the Montreal International Black Film Festival with Habs defenceman P.K. Subban at his side, as requested.

Lee is recognized for revolutionizing modern black cinema, as well as never shying away from politically charged topics like the perplexities of race and identity.

ExposNation is a non-profit organization that promotes Montreal as a viable Major League Baseball (MLB) market in the hopes of reigniting the city’s love affair with the sport.
