TORONTO – Councillor Vincent Crisanti has been re-elected in Ward 1 Etobicoke North in the 2014 Toronto election.
Crisanti grabbed nearly 47 per cent of the vote with 33 out of 34 polls reporting. Avtar Minhas was the runner up with 19 per cent of the vote.
Crisanti won in the 2010 – with the help of Rob Ford – beating his longtime competitor Suzan Hall by just 509 votes. Crisanti lost to Hall in both the 2000 and 2003 elections, losing out by just 97 votes in 2000. Hall didn’t run this time around and Crisanti held his seat against 11 other candidates.
