Ted Bird got his first radio job at CFCY Charlottetown in 1978. Following that, he worked at CKGM Montreal and CFTR Toronto before returning to Montreal for good in 1985.

He has been a fixture on the Montreal morning radio landscape for nearly 27 years, including stops at CHOM, CJFM, CJAD and his current stint on CKRK (K103) Kahnawake, where he co-hosts the Ted, Java and Paul show with James “Java” Jacobs, Paul Graif and Matty Potts.

 
Ted lives in the Montreal municipality of Beaconsfield with his wife, Danielle, and children Sam, Charlie and Allie.

 
He also has a daughter, Lauren, who lives in Montreal and studies fine arts at Concordia University.
