Fiery crash on Highway 7 near Harris, Sask. sends four to hospital

HARRIS, Sask. – Four people were sent to hospital after a fiery crash on Highway 7 Thursday afternoon.

RCMP say the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. just west of Harris, Sask. after an SUV making an eastbound turn onto the highway collided with an eastbound PNR railworks crew truck.

The truck then went into the westbound lane and hit a semi.

Both the truck and the semi were engulfed in flames.

Two people in the truck, the semi driver and the driver of the SUV were taken to hospital in Rosetown for treatment of their injuries. They have all been released.

The driver of the SUV was ticketed for driving without due care and attention.
