REGINA – Two Regina males, including one young offender, are facing attempted murder charges after a man with a gun chased another man on foot through Churchill Downs last week.
Last Tuesday, Police were called to St. John Street and 1st Avenue North for a report that gunshots were fired, and two males were running down the street.
At the same, there was information that a vehicle had accelerated away from the area at a high rate of speed, and police found damage to a fence at 1st Avenue North and Ottawa Street.
Police eventually located the firearm at a house in the 500 block of Montreal Street, and they also recovered a Chevrolet Impala which had bullet holes in the front passenger side door.
Police arrested a 15 year-old who cannot be named. He is facing eight charges, including two counts of attempted murder – he made his first appearance in youth court this morning.
Twenty-two year-old Scott Edward Pelletier of Regina is facing seven charges, including two counts of attempted murder – he also made his first court appearance on Monday morning.
