REGINA – There was a heavy police presence in the Churchill Downs area Tuesday night.
Just after 5:30 p.m. gunshots were heard around St. John Street and 1st Avenue North.
Police say the initial investigation suggested a man with a gun was chasing another man on foot.
Further investigation led them to a home in the 400 block of Ottawa Street.
It’s still unclear if residents there had anything to do with the crime.
Meanwhile, police continue to interview people in the area.
They think the incident may have involved a vehicle that caused property damage in the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
